710N DV
Has anyone used a 710N Diverter valve on a stock non chipped K03 B5? Is this a bad idea? I ordered it with intentions to get GIAC later. All I want to know is if this will hurt the turbo or anything else. Thanks.

why would it hurt the car ?
there is just no point if you are not chipped

You won't notice a difference over stock, unless your old DV is indeed bad. It's cheap though, so why not. No, there is no negative consequence to using the 710N.

i put a 710n in my car w/o the benefit of a chip too, and have wondered if it wasn't such a great idea. i did it b/c i had the whole front end apart and it was easiest to do while in the "service" position. once i finish up some other work i'm going to chip it, at which time i'll get the benefit of higher boost allowed by the 710n (i think that's how it works).
