75x question + Install Pics of my VDO Gauge/steering column pod

ORIGINAL: A4 the Quattro

son of a bitch.. i looked and looked and looked.. the one one the far left was marked 30 .. and i think the one on the far right was marked 270? .. i have one empty spot in the middle.. i couldnt be missing the 75x ?could i?

ill have to look again tommorrow.. gotta get ready for work now [:@] damn work! ..
the 75x should be just left of the 30, its on the very left right by the fuse box. very hard to miss

Here is my set up that I have on my 01.It was pretty easy to do I just followed the directions from NewSouth that they gave me. They also gave me a red LED to go in the gauge to.

anyone have this problem?

according to the apr diy it says that the gauge is suppose to snap in... but it fits very loosely

its the apr vdo center vent boost gauge kit....

fumoazul, you should just create a new thread. something like "calling all apr vent gauge owners" or something like that. you'll probly get your answer faster

just finished puttin in my vdo vent gauge... looks stupid cause of the white lights... chaos where did u get ur red bulb at and what's it called and where could I get it at?

by the way my vac is at 20 while in idle... and im holding 6-7 psi... does that sound normal?

If you play around with the cig lighter wires you can find the right ones that light up only when you turn the lights on. That is also the setup i have but i just had to figure out the right wires to tap into. One wire is a ground which you will use. Another wire actually lights the lighter which you dont wanna use. The other wire lights up the little ring light around the cig lighter. Thats the positive wire you want.

its actually a little cover for the bulb. my friend gave it to me cause he had an extra.

its like one of these, but i dont know they size of the bulb.
