87 octane with APR 93 Octane program
Your car will be fine. I hope the race gas comment was a joke, thats how I took it. Octane booster is BS. Just move out of state before your tank is empty so you always know what you are getting.

I have a hard time finding race fuel around here. where are some good places to look?
I'll probly just go pic up some octane booster from autozone and put three or four bottles of that in then top it off with the 93 I thought I had bought this afternoon.
I can't beleive the guy. he was like "not my problem, there's nothing I can do about it" I should've demanded a refund....
not sure why there's no pumping your own in jersey and yes it pisses me off having to wait for the guy to come to my car go help someone else then come back... its annoying. anyone know what the reasoning behind it is? probly to supply jobs to illegal aliens...

You will be fine. Be gentle. If not, the knock sensor will retard your timing. Your engine wont explode.
My daughter just bought a T-shirt that says "Jersey girls don't pump gas".
I have female friends who have lived in New Jersey al their lives, and have no idea how to put gas in the car when they go out of state.

They don't let you pump your own gas there because people from Jersey have never done it and they are worried about making them change. Trust me, there would be a ton of people filling their tanks while smoking a cigarette and all kinds of stupid crap. Jersey people are not to be trusted with explosives (side note that fireworks are illegal there too).
No you don't tip the attendant. Its weird because somehow Jersey has great gas prices even though you are paying for attendants to pump it for you.
Yes I know a lot of people who are from Jersey and go out of state and sit in their car for 10 minutes waiting for an attendant to come out and pump their gas, finally realize it isn't going to happen, and then ask someone at another pump to do it for them because they have no idea how to do it.
BTW, grew up in Jersey for first 18 years of my life. My advice, get the crap out of there as soon as you can. heh

I went to Jersey once and was pissed about not being able to pump my own gas. Maybe they just assume everyone is dumb in new jersey, because where I was driving they also didn't let you take u-turns without a light.
Sorry if it sounds like I'm bashing jersey, I think that state gets the most **** out of anywhere in america.

The first time I drove through Oregon, I stopped in Medford to get some gas... so I proceed to get out of the car & go to the pump to put my CC in, and this guy almost runs out of the booth at me, and says "let me get that for you... what do you want?" I was totally shocked that I wasn't allowed to pump my own gas in Oregon.
If the guy wanted to pump my gas, I would make it the worst 10 minuts of his gas pumping day, Starting with wiping down around the gas cap with a non alcohol cleansing swab. etc. etc.
i know in oregon you are allowed to pump your own gas. the attendant just has to hand it to you and put it back. try asking them because i was told by some attendants that motorcyclists were complaing that the attendants were dripping gas all over the bikes so there was some kind of law passed to allow it or somehting along those lines
