what does the 90k tuneup consist of? having 81k on the car, do you think it's ok to get a k04 upgrade?

 

First of all get your timing belt changed i cant stress that enough. And of course the basic tune up stuff.

 

The 90k service is oil & filter, cabin filter, air filter, spark plugs, check all other fluids, etc.. As far a miles, even w/ 81k on the car, if the engine has been properly maintained, you can put the other turbo on.

 

dont forget the water pump,therm, and serp. belts. Have you done your transmision? might give that a thought while your at it.

The 90k service without timing belt for a 2.8 is $600 at the dealer. Too much. Do it yourself and Save!
