96 2.8 suspension kit?

Default 96 2.8 suspension kit?

wuts up guys. my a4 2.8 needs new upper control arms. i found a kit on ebay with the whole front suspension witht he tie rods sway bars etc. can someone look at this kit and tell me if it is a good kit or should i trust it?

What you want (and what I used on my car) is the Meyle HD kit. You can find it here:

Part Number ES#3005 with TREs

You may as well pick up the sway bar links too (glad I did as they wouldn't come apart and had to be cut off) for $60.
Part Number ES#1130
That comes to around $560.



As for those you found on Ebay, it doesn't really say the manufacturer, just that they are OEM and HD. I think you should ask that guy what brand they are.

I don't think I would mess around too much with trying to get cheap suspension components. It can be a real pain to install (mine was) and its pretty important. Its not something you want to do again if you find out what you bought was junk. IMO, not the place to skimp. You want cheapo headlights go for it. When it comes to real mechanics of the car, I want to know I've got the real deal.
