Default 96' A4 1.8 Turbo Quattro OIL PRESSURE.... HEEEEEEEELP ME PLEEEASE

My beast is on life support....... It is up on blocks having surgery. However I cannot seem to remove the sump. All bolts are undone & it has play but it definitely feels stuck at the back end. Is there any little pin that holds it on that I can't see? I mean, I have a good view as the K frame is off & so is the plate at the front of the motor, so it has about 4 cm in every direction it can move but it just doesn't want to drop... Does anybody know why this would be?

Sure you got all the bolts undone behind the flywheel? They're a bitch to get to, there isn't anything else holding it on besides the bolts. I'm only talking AEB engine though.

Take it you're fitting an oil pump then?

Yep all bolts are off. 14 pan bolts plus 3 that bolt into flywheel cover? I think thats all of em'. I have gotten it really loose but its like it's held on, on the inside up the back.. Bizarre. Any other ideas?
