Default 98.5 30V, cooling issues?

I am noticing some irregularities on this car that have me a bit worried.

If I'm sitting in traffic with the AC on, or if it's 80+ degrees and I'm doing city driving, the temperature gauge does not stay at the middle. It goes all the way to the next marking to the right, then eventually recovers. Also, the radiator fan is on almost constantly, while on other cars I've had, it would go off after 30-60 seconds of spinning.

I checked the coolant level and it looks good. It is also pink and very clear.

Thanks for any suggestions. Keep in mind I'm a bit newbish about Audis (first Audi, bought it 2 days ago).

Great, keep me posted. I'll have mine checked too since it came with a 60 day warranty. Hopefully we can figure it out.
