99.5 A4 1.8TQ + Borla Cat back..........
yeah they do the OBD testing in PA. I found it at http://www.dep.state.pa.us/aq_apps/e...s/testinfo.htm at the bottom of the page.
Thanks for looking that up -- seems the visual inspection part of the deal should alert the mechanic of the missing catalytic converter. LOL! plus it appears they also use a tailpipe probe (much like my wife when she sees that this exhaust is on the CC bill).
you have a testpipe a4fanatic82? I'm in HBG BTW......

damn bro i'm in hummelstown thats phat...we will have to meet up sometime. Well actually i'm in rehoboth beach, DE over the summer, but i'll be back in the fall. I'm getting an '01 A4 when i get back...workin my *** off this summer, and then the modding will begin! A testpipe is definitely in the plans as well as a BT. Do you take your car to Victory? I don't think that we have anything to worry about emissions wise, i'm sure they just do it through the OBD. Why would they waste their time checking for a cat when they can just sit there and let the computer do the work for them.
I do got to Victory when I have to, but I find their service to wanting and their prices to be steep! I've been looking for a good alternate Audi Garage in the area (any suggestions)?
"BT" -- sorry lost me there (and i did check the glossary onepoint8tee -- lol).
you do a lot of work yourself? i've also been considering doing a drop on it, but the labor will kill me -- the parts will be tight enough on the wallet. i did order myself a bentley manual to start getting myself ready to do more of my own work on the car (had their manual for my BMWs and they are fantasticly helpful).

I like Milltek (2.75") or custom (3") exhaust, but I value better handling over a new sound and modest performance gains so I'll shoot for h-sport anti-sways next. To each his own.
