ok im looking at an a4 tomarrow and i think its a 99.5 but i have a few questions b4 i go look at it.. i know some of the differences but not all ok them, are the 99.5 drive by wire or not, and do you chip a 99.5 or can it be flashed. any help would be great.. wnat to know if i want to get this car or the 2000 i saw, i want a black a4 with the ivory interior.. they look hot

yea i found two of them going to buy one, one is a 2000 one is a 99 or 99.5 if the guy with the 99 comes down alot on the price ill buy that one if not im going to go pick up the 2000 alot less miles

ah so you decided on another a4. and ya thats the color combo i got and i love it. the 99.5 is defintely the year to go with. its nDBW so its much better for tuning. and i believe they upgraded a lot of stuff to make it more reliable. the 2000 is DBW so i say go with the 99.5

the 99.5 has 86k and he wants 9999 the 2000 has 62k on it and he wants 10,500, the kbb on the 99 is between 8400-9200 so if he drops it to 8600 ill buy it but i dont think he will, i know the 2000 guy will go to 9800. so its a toss up the 99.5 is the original owner im going to go look at the car and see whats what

ya, get the 99.5 guy down to 9k and get that definatly, however make sure the TB has been done along w/ all major 60k stuff, or if he won't come down to 9K tell him you want him to pay for the 90k instead.
