70,116 Oil Change
73,450 Oil change
80,225 Oil change
83,960 replac vacuum valve
84,025 Oil change

Now that the list is done is there anytthing you see that i should get done relativly soon. tomarrow im switching to OEM large filter, full syn oil(most likely Mobil 1 5w-30, live in ohio so i assume that should be fine), replacing the cabin and intake filter, possibly fuel filter depending on how much all this will be. At the same time i will be checking coolant, brake fluid as well. Let me know what you guys think, the car currently has i believe like 87,500 on it and again its a 99.5 1.8t quattro 5 speed manual. Thanks for any advice you may be able to give.

start on the underside with some finnegans wax oil under seal that will add life to it and prevent excess rusting and dont forget to grease up all the break pipes

Don't see timing belt, water pump and thermostat. That is one of the most important. If it hasn't been done, hurry up and get it done now or that belt will go at anytime.

i assumed the Tbelt as well. It didnt not say replace, but just said recall-inspect tbelt. my question was that pulley which one is it that needs replaced? cause he replaced the cam adjuster so was wondering if that was it

No, I don't think he'd have replaced the pully that is notorious for failing. Just buy a timing belt kit and waterpump (plus G12 coolant) and get that changed asap.
ecstuning.com sells an 'ultimate' kit which has everything.

Mobil 1 0w40 is what is recommended by Audi. Castrol Syntec 5w40 is what the dealer uses.

I just did the oil change and replaced the air filter went with the stock large filter, mobil 1 5w-30 full synthetic and a purolator air filter(didnt have money for a good one), quite glad i did saw that he had used some cheapy oil filter, i was amazed by the size difference. By the way found out it was cheaper getting the same filter from a VW dealer than Audi, incase it might help someone else. Also saw wha tlooked like power steering fluid(red tint to it). coming from the front passenger side of the motor, it had leaked down and was on the plastic that proctected the motor underneath. What you think could that be leaking? i plan next week to do the timing, waterpump and pulley(which pulley exactly do i need). i just want to get all of the potential hazards out of the way asap as the money comes in. Thanks for the help ladies and gents.

Just get a full t-belt kit, it usually includes the belt, tensioner, tensioner roller, water pump impellar, themostat, and 3 other drive belts. usually around 250-300 bucks for the kit.
Use Mobile 1 0w-40 next time, same filter.

Was the leak far enough back to be the tranny? If not, then you have a coolant leak somwhere.....maybe the line going to the turbo, thats where it is.

There's a bunch of us in ohio....check this out......
