most cars have an ecu. wut is evrybody gonna do? walk? just jump start it and get ur car scanned for fault codes

 

hahahaha good point, he was saying something like use a booster pack if I decide to jump it...

 

well u can even take a random working battery and jump ur car. shoot u could buy like a case of AAs and hook them all up and it might do the job lol. but the point is just get ur car started lol.

 

Have you tried a rolling start? You said you had a 5 speed. Did you try that yet. you could completely avoid jumping it that way. Just get a friend to help you push!

 

ya and if ur fat, no offense to fat ppl and not saying u are fat, it could be sum excersize that u nvr have time for lol. but most audi driver's i've seen are not fat. it's rly weird. many ppl who drive trucks are fat though hehehe

I had the exact problem with my 99.5 2.8. I'm surprised nobody got this one yet. For some reason when I left the car sit for a while and came back it wouldn't start so I trickle charged it to start it and it bogged out and did exactly what this car is doing. It gave me readings as if it should start but just wouldn't. I eventually had it towed and checked and somehow needed a Throttle Body Adaptation, that's all. I'm not saying that's what you need but based on the checklist assuming you tried everything other's have reccomended I bet that's what it is. Have it diagnosed by a tech you can trust, if that's what it is the dealer should only charge $100 for just the adaptation, they'll try to get you to buy more but that's all you should need to fix it. Did I mention mine is a 5sp too?
