Default A4 1.8T Converter Needed

I'm looking for a CA approved Cat Converter for my 97 Audi 1.8T. If anyone knows where to get one that is reasonably cheap, please let me know. Even a used one will do. Thanks.

There is a company that has CARB approved aftermarket cats for about 190 dollars. Unfortunately I don't have the link. Try running a google search. That is how I found them in the first place.

Thanks guys. I'm just looking all over as well. Are magna's California approved? If so, how much do you think it'll cost to fit it? last time I checked, they're charging about $500. I'm actually eying for a GOOD usedoriginal part so I could just bolt it on. The car is actually a 97 A4 and is quite old to spend big $s.

You'll also be buying 2 gaskets (1 to the flexpipe and 1 to the turbo), and new bolts aren't a bad idea, either. Good luck if you're doing it yourself. Hope you have some nice high jackstands or a lift.

Call Labree Motorsports. I am pretty sure he told me his cats were CARB approved. It cost me $100 to remove my old cat and put the Labree on. The Labree was $269 plus shipping. Beautiful piece of work plus it's high flow.
