The 'T' with the flag was never on any year B6 EVER(the '01 B5 only). The only question is wether the thread starter is talking about a red 'T' or the red flag(after the T). both would be a wrong badge on the '05, unless it is a B7 euro model(which I have no knowlege of and can not comment on), and we need a pic to know for sure.

If you have an '01 with the t\ Then you have 170hp as opposed to earlier models. So yes, your car is faster stock than other B5s
