Hey guys, I just got a 2005.5 Audi A4 2.0t fwd. I couldnt find anyone who makes a performance upgraded chip for the car, can you reccommend some? Thanx

 

MTM is the only one I'm aware of, that has a chip right now. They are $$ though... gonna have to wait a little bit for GIAC and APR I guess.

why?

 

There are a few good reasons to get FWD... getting quattro is a much easier choice, in the used market.
But new, its cheaper to go FWD... where used 90% of the cars are AWD.
Also better on gas to go FWD, and also faster... due to weight savings.

We get lots of snow up here... so quattro was a must for me, but, I can still see why FWD would have some appeal.

 

hey, this isn't exactly with this thread, but

handling wise which would you guys suggest the FWD version or the Quattro verion

handling is a high priority to me than all out speed [auto-x]

 

call upsolute they might have something. ive talked to them and they told me they were the first to do the 2001.5 (B6) plus they are only 350
