Default A4 Auto Transmissions

As we all know, 1993-1998 VW Jetta automatic transmissions are complete crap. Since VW/Audi are practically siblings, are early A4 automatic transmissions complete crap, also? I love my car but my parents keep suggesting that I get a Lexus SC400.

Thanks,
Mike

I hope you are right, I want to upgrade to a 2001 A4 1.8QT as soon as possible...probably by the time I transfer to San Jose State.

Might as well just go for an '02. There were quite a few changes between 01-02 Most important is the dual exhaust. I just like the way it looks.

It should be good unless you mistake the trans. plug for the oil plug, drain your tans. fluid. Then over fill the engine oil, and drive the car for 50 miles like that. LOL. True story and it's running like it's new!!! Frickin right!!
