A4 B7 Gas milage what are you getting?
You're doing better than me. I'm at 3300 miles and averaging 24.1. The manual may be the difference, since I tend to leave it in gear a little longer than the Tip would, thinking on its own.
I'm not complaining, though. The one long highway trip I took her on, I averaged just over 28, and that was running at between 80 and 130 for over 200 miles.

Gosh I was thinking better than 30 on hwy trips.....
How does the car feel at 130. I have been 146 in my Bimmer but that is a very different car......
I don't have the sport pkg on this and it does have quattro...
Does Qtr hurt fuel economy? Handling at high speeds?

Thanks. I guess if I was to make a long trip and run it at 65-70, it could easily top 30mpg but that just wouldn't be any fun and it's not why I bought it. I mean, if great gas mileage at 65mph was my goal, I would have just bought a damn Civ-Ick or two...
It feels totally composed at 130. I ran it to 135, the 'puter wouldn't let it go any faster but it still had plenty of pull left in it. I strongly suspect that with no limiter it would easily run to 150 and with an APR upload it could do everything on the dial. Solid, stable, no float, none of that damn twitchiness you sometimes see in cars at terminal velocity. There just wasn't anything to inspire nervousness other than the passing thought of what the cops might have to say.

The Quattro definitely costs you some fuel economy because it costs you horsepower to the wheels. That said, I don't think it's anything more than a mpg. As for Quattro contributing to stability I really can't say for certain because I've never driven a FrontTrac but if the Q is more stable in general (which is generally accepted as fact) than I have every reason to believe that the additional stability is present all the way through the velocity curve.
3.0 6 speed i get about 21-23 in highway/city mish mash.
on the highway i get about 26-28.
my average from seattle to portland is like 26.7 mpg.
if i stomp on it over a few days i can go as low as 18.
