We recently purchased a 96 A4 for our son. After sitting for a week without being started the battery was dead. After charging the battery the car will not start. Turns over great, shows spark but no fuel.
Checked fuel pump fuse and it's ok.
Any secrets?

Hmmm, my response seems to have vanished, so I'll repost.

No fuel but spark suggests either a lack of fuel or bad fuel pump or controller.

Is there gas in the tank? Even if the fuel guage reads that there is gas, sometimes the sender unit goes bad and there is no fuel even though the gauge says there is gas. Add a few gallons of premium to the tank and then retry.
