A4 Black Edition tow bar height
I am thinking about getting a swan neck detachable tow bar fitted and need to know the height of the ball to keep my trailer level when towing
The tow bar fitter says it's 457mm but European Directive 94/20/EC calls for the tow ball height to be 350 - 420mm with the car laden. I want to keep the rear of the car looking original and don't want to fit a flange ball which I know will accept a dropper plate if needs be.
