A4 Concert radio Amp ???
Hi folks, I need some radio help..I bought a 98 A4Q 1.8T..The previous owner had a high powered system which he removed..I installed an Audi Concert which shows as a Bose when powered on..I entered the code, but have no sound..There are factory Bose speakers in the doors..I located the cd changer cable in the trunk, and I have a cd changer from my previous A6..I assume there is supposed to be an AMP somewhere, but I cannot find it or the wiring for it..I did find what looks like a paralell printer cable behind the left rear 1/4 panel cover..HELP..If there is an AMP missing, any idea where I can locate one? Thanks, Rich

RE: A4 Concert radio Amp ???
The system amp in my 99 A4 was mounted on the driver's side rear speaker, and it only powered the rear speakers - the front door speakers (which in my car were not labeled as being Bose speakers) were driven directly off the head unit's internal amp. That cable in the quarter panel might be some sort of changer connection, but I'm not sure - you would have to try and match it up to your changer or another one. Can you post a pic of the connector in the trunk? Maybe someone will be able to identify it for sure by seeing it.

RE: A4 Concert radio Amp ???
i was wondering the same thing like a month ago haha. i did sum research and found that the square one is for navigation or sattelite radio. the amp on my car was behind the carpeting right behind the quarter panel and rear seats on the driver's side. u gotta pull apart the carpeting to see it.
