It was last night while crossing the 205 bridge from Washington to Oregon, coasting downhill, when the bike cop tagged me. The speed varies from 70 to 55 on the road and apparently I was in a 55 mph zone. He said he clocked me at 76, which means me and the A4 were awarded with a 242 dollar fine. So much for the lip spoiler I was saving up for. One has to love how cops take full advantage of setting up shop where ones car is naturally going to go faster than normal, not to mention the coveted speed trap where speed zones arise.

Can you get the ticket defferred? I know a lot of people that do that here. You take the ticket to court and get it taken away. They will take away the fine but if you get another ticket within a certain amount of time...they will do something of harsher punishment...

 

Gotta pay to play brotha.. that's why I jump on the track for fun! Doesn't sound too bad though. I've seen some 400-425 fines thru south GA at 20 over

 

try getting a 500 dollar fine for just driving in the stupid car pool lane with one person in the car...that was the harshest ticket i ever got,.

$350 for going 80 on the bay bridge. I was also going the flow of traffic as it was 4 am on a friday night/sat morning. I was the trailing car, hence the ticket. i went to court to beg for traffic school. they gave it to me, no fine reduction.
