a4 mods
ok so maybe the tip chip is out of the question but how how would i go about modding my air box? is there a part i can actually cut out to increase air flow? i know on many other cars there are extra elbows and what not for emissions controls but this is my first a4 so i dont really know. So u think i will be fine with just chipping it? no probs with the tranny or any other components considering i do have 72k on the car.

ahaha.....no i wasnt going to put holes in my airbox. I must not have stated that as clear. I was refrencing to my buddies 04' wrx. There is an elbow on his intake which has some sort of emissions system in it and what you can do is replace the whole elbow with a straight pipe wiht nothing inside of it. So by that answer im guessing there is nothing like that for an audi.

nah its not a short ram or nehting. I know aftermarket intakes are bad news. I cant remeber the part he changed but it doesnt matter i dont think there is a mod for it on the audi. but while im here. Do u know how to stop the service inspection light from flashing? i really dont want to take it to an audi dealer or specialist and have them charge me a $100 to ****in look at it. Im sure there is a procedure to stop that from flashing. Its showing up on my dash where the odometer is after i start the car then it goes away. Im sure its just routine maintenence light.
