You need the A6 unit, for the B5.

Does that fit right in there or do you have to modify anything?

Oh wow... that is so bloody sweet.
I've got a 2000 A4... which was a nightmare to get a dash kit for when I installed an aftermarket CD player. I think only 2000 and 2001 shared the same 'symphony' radio. B6's have symphony, but it's different.

I want to go back to stock looking interior... and was planning on using my old factory symphony deck. That picture has me dreaming, though...

Yes, it fits right in, but you have to trim the bottom, to click it place. For it to work, you need the wiring harness, antenna adapter & navi antenna.

If you look closely, you will see the sides have a small gap, it's not perfect, but the unit is sweet! Also, the color is a little off, but is easy to fix.

Can i modify it to my existing NAV antenna thats on my S4? I know the NAV+ system is completely different but that thing looks so sexy in the dash i can't help but want one.

No idea, where is the factory antenna located? At the head unit or in the trunk? I would say if the antenna is at the radio & it has the same connector, then yea, why not?

So a B5 S4 nav system wouldn't fit into my A4?
