a4 nav question

So a B5 S4 nav system wouldn't fit into my A4?
If you have the double din dash, then yes, it will fit. The factory US one is not worth even trying. The RNS-D is the one for the B5, & will fit right in, but needs some wiring & a can bus controller. The other bad thing it's CD based, so it's like 14 cd's for the US & the map are not longer updated, so your stuck back in 2005.

Yeah... I'd definitely need an exact fit to be happy, I think. I might even put up with 14 cd's if I had to... unless the actual functionality of the thing was worse, too.
