I have a 2000 A4 Quattro 2.8 and it has developed a terrible shudder when you start the car and it is at idle. the check engine light comes on flashing, I had the codes checked and it said camshaft position sensor vacuum leak. I changed the vacuum lines and the camshaft sensor. not much of a change . while it is running below 1000 rpms there are no brakes the peddle is up but no stopping? can anyone shade some light on this problem. above 1000rpms no trouble.
