I'm really thinking about buying an A4, my first Audi (and first car this nice).

Reading though, I've heard the next redesign will be coming up soon... but some things seem to indicate it will be in the calendar year 2014, while others state it will be the 2014 model year (late 2013 calendar year).

I dont want to buy a car this summer only to have it redesigned
And I dont want to wait to mid-to-late calendar year 2014 to upgrade.

If the upgrade is coming the 2014 model year... I'll wait til later this year.

Can anyone clarify?

 

Some manufacturers have been starting model years awfully early lately. Isn't the 2014 Mazda6 already out?

I'm curious to see what the new A4 will look like. Being lighter despite new gizmos also sounds pretty good.
