A4 running prob 2.8q 30v 1998
Greetings folks and hope you can help me.
Dunno whether anyone can help with this, my A4 2.8 won't start sometimes after it's been run (from cold no probs) the car just spins over on the starter, it has spark and fuel both been tested by the AA last time i called them out. AA man then unplugged one or 2 of the injectors and it started to catch like it had flooded, then burts back into life and ran fine.
Now the other thing that i noticed that if after it's warmed up i switch off for 5 minutes it starts and then runs lumpy like it's on only 4 or 5 cyclinders and the idle is higher than normal.
So far i have checked for air leaks and found none, replaced the spark plugs and air filter and cleaned all the electrical connectors i can get my hands on.
