Default Mad CVT prob's

I have a 03 A6 CVT 3.0 and my prob is I have a shutter when I step on the gas. I thought I would change the fluid but no matter who I call I get diff ansers. Byers imports parts dpt. says 1 internal filter 65$ their service dpt says 1 external fliter 300$ and Auto Assets says no fliter. and I dont know if I should flush or just drain and re-fill. The car has 107.236 miles on it. Any help would great every time I have asked this forum a question I get a stright anser and my car gets fixet right, so for previous (and future) help thx

There is no filter change needed with a CVT, it would be integral if it needed changing.
If you have a shudder like that you need to take it to the dealer. There is about 6 TSB's about the CVT from shuddering, to down right bucking. All of them unfortunately are pretty major repairs. So if you don't have an aftermarket warranty, i would apply for one now which could save you thousands here in the short run.
