Hi people. I bought one of these today, i'm picking it up next week.

has anyone chipped these to any great effect? was it noticeable and/or worth it? ..it's a 1999, 110 BHP (Red i) one.

any info gratefully recieved.

 

unforutunaly they don't have TDI in the states and most of the people here are from the states. But from what I'v heard from people with VW TDI's you can make quite the little rocket out of one.

Not quite sure How interchangable some of the parts would be but you might want to check out VWvortex.com and ask around in the TDI section there. they may know more. anyway, good to have you aboad. Chipping the 110 hp Tdi will give you a significant increase in hp and torque. You'll get performance similar to the 130hp Tdi (depending on the chip you choose).

Here (Norway) the chip is about 900$, the price difference between the 110 and 130 hp A4 is 3000$. You do the math....

 

I looked it up a little, rocketchip.com would have what you need.

I never knew they had a 2.5 V6 TDI for the A4 out there....I need one of those.
