I'm tired of searching...just got an 03 A4 1.8t fwd tip...can I really screw this thing up or what? i'm used to a B5 S4 stick and doing my best not to drive like a maniac...but will the computer really let me rip this thing down the road? are you really supposed to drive tip all the time if you want, or is it just for fun once in a while?

 

Didnt understand most of what you said.. But for the last part, you can use tip whenever you want. It just gives you control over shift points. Why in the hell did you go from a stick S4 to an Auto A4???? Thats like returning your steak dinner for a corn dog.

haha...i know, i know. I sold my S4 a few months back when I lost my job...then a friend of mine decided to move to china and sell his A4...it was a great price and the car is flawless, so instead of driving a 2001 GMC Jimmy like I was at the time, I bought the A4. Anyways, i was just wondering if the tip can handle hard driving that's all...how durable is it when you use it all the time and push it pretty hard...i'm just remembering the cost of repairing the S4 pressure plate and clutch and don't wanna risk anything with this comparably low performance car.
