Arrow 2000 Audi TT 1.8FWD with Injen CAI - now makes noise

Hey all:

My car has about 83k miles and I just decided to get a Injen Cold Air Intake installed.
Brought it to a shop and they installed it in 3 hours.

I noticed when stepping on the gas u hear the air being sucked in and the car has more power and better throttle response which I really like.

But.... now i hear something else.

When I push the car hard "giving it alot of gas then switching gears" - When I give it alot of gas then Push in the clutch I hear a quick "rattle" sound. I only hear this when I push the car, when I drive slower and push the clutch in I do not hear the rattle.

Also, say if im in 4th gear doing 40mph without touching the clutch and i press down hard on the gas then let off the pedal quick I get the quick "Rattle" sound again.

This "rattle" sound was NOT around before the CAI install.

Any ideas what the rattle might be? I check the CAI its installed tight. Nothing loose.

Thanks-

Here is a pic of it

im thinking its either a bolt is loose or a part of CAI is rattling against another part of the engine. maybe you could have someone rev up your car while you look at your engine bay specially the newly installed CAI. just my .02 cents. btw, did you had to pay for installation? that should have been an easy DIY.

Yea I agree..you should check the cai around parts where it could possibly contacting the car and look for scuff marks or whatever. If it is hitting the engine bay somewhere you'll see it. Check the filter too.
