only problem is there is a chance your insurance would go up (which is gay but usualy happens) so it really wouldnt be worth it for something minor. Plus, depending on what your deductable is, you probably would almost pay the same amount as if you didnt go through insurance anyways

Plan H is to check and see if the damage incurred by the garbage can inflicted minor dings and scratches on much of the paint (I AM NOT SUGGESTING INSURANCE FRAUD!) and then ask the insurance company to have your WHOLE CAR SPRAYED.

 

Insurance company will never ever pay for the whole car to be sprayed when there is bumper damage, that would be like asking god to bring back the dead its just not gonna happen

Look, if the lid hit the bumper, it might have hit a side of the car too. He should check for damage everywhere. Maybe it f****d up some of the suspension or brake parts but we won't know unless he posts a picture. And as far as acts of God are concerned maybe you didn't see the recent documentary Resident Evil 2? No better proof that zombies exist other than the 2004 election results.
