I blew on of my dam tweeters dose anyone know of an aftermarket set that will fit in the stock tweeter housing..

damn dude i didnt know you could blow a tweeter!

 

yea i have bose.. they were probibly already blown i didnt notice till i put my new head unit in.. they just cant handle the better frequency range

 

you can blow any speaker.. tweeters are acutally esier to blow then subs..

Sure you could. I've blew mine so I replaced all my speakers to PolkAudio db6750 series. The tweeter fit into the stock housing perfectly.

 

I am using the stock bose amp with the stock bose speakers, running off my AVIC-D1 nav unit

 

Don't the Bose run off of like 1.5 ohm and normal speakers run off 4 or 8? What kind of deck are you using?

oooooook it was a joke i know you can blow any speaker.. i just have yet to hear about a blown tweeter in an a4till now so i was exagerating to prove a point.
JB go to the dealer or hit up shokan (if theyll even do that for you) I have read the oem tweeters are a size not sold aftermarket sizes. Might be able to fabricate one though and they arent just screwed in or clamped in. They are held in my plastic "pins" that instantly break when trying to remove the tweeter. So i guess no matter what if you replace it youll have to fabricate something.
