Default about to buy an A4, questions!!

[align=left]well i have been a saab owner for the past 4 years. gone through 2 9-5's and im sick of them. I am thinking of purchasing an A4 and was wondering how reliable they are, I am debating between the 3.0 and the 1.8. I will be keeping the car stock. Which has more power stock? Which has less maintance problems? Both the cars i am looking at are right around 65K miles. Which car handles better stock. I have heard and read around that the 3.0 is much more reliable and is a very fast very fun car to drive. I would love some personal opinions and some input on the subject before i make the move to buy a new vehicle! I know i want an audi i just want the best/most reliable one out of the a4's i can get... Also they're 2002's both of them. I liked the body of that year. Fill me in!!

Get the v6 if your not going to mod. Its a little more reliable, and has more power out of the box.
The 1.8 can quickly surpass it with mods, but if you're not gonna mod and want relaibility, get the v6.
The one you are looking at, b6 platform, with 65k, shoul last you a long long time.

1.8 a4 turbo is a street car and better to mod the other is for the likes of me ( an old timer with cruising in mind ) but still a fast quiet car with a name but not for the racer boys even though it can hold its own on many cars

im not sure if they're quattro... im looking for something quicker than my 3.0 saab (200hp fwd) and alot more smooth/quiet drive. the A4 seems to do that great. i'll link both cars.

Since you're not modding the car, I'd say go for the 3.0. It has more stock power vs. the 1.8t. However, if you were to mod the 1.8t, it has much more potential than the 3.0. Looks like they're both quattro. The only downside with the 3.0 is that its bigger engine will weigh the car down a bit more and won't be quite as responsive as the 1.8t in the corners.

So the 3.0 that showed... less mechanical problems, reliable, not going to have as many problems as saab? @ 65K miles... How much longer, with moderate driving habits, should this last me, Should have normal oil changes, and i usually only get on the gas on highway driving.
