My ABS light and brake light have come on together for the last two days. It dosent come on immedietly, it comes on after driving for about 10-15minutes. Does this mean I have to spend some major dough on a new abs control unit? Are there any manual ways of testing or looking for error codes?

Could be the abs sensor. Go get your car scanned for the codes.
