Default ABS and Brake light

Once in a while, while driving the ABS light is on while the brake light keeps on blinking? It says there for few seconds sometime longer and goes away. What’s going on?

sensor maybe one or more of them dirty or cable is loose. if you have vag-com, you can check which sensor is causing the error light. I had the same problem, cleaned the sensor and fixed the issue.
