Within the last few weeks my ABS light and Brake Light on dash (speedo) have been flashing. The brakes and rotors are new, 2 days old. The Mechanic says could be a bad module or pump. This car is a 2001 A4 1.8T quattro. Does any one know if ABS problems fall under the 80,000 mile federal warranty? If not any ideas on repair costs to replace module. Thanks for any good input!!!

yeah, its the bane of all of our existences. Mine is currently flickering like a christmas tree.

 

So Ive read some of the past posts, have you heard if any of the module rebuild people are legit. Any good ones?

 

haha mine also. My brakes work fine so I'm putting it off for a while. I'm also curious to know if anyone here have had their module rebuilt. Recently called one of the sponsors here and they sounded like they knew what they were talking about.

your abs isnt on when they are flashing, but everything else is normal.
