Yeah the entire ABS system is ridiculous, usually that combination of lights is the ABS module computer, but I would check to make sure the fuse isnt blown cause that will cause the same problem. Scanning it with a VAG would be nice too... They definetly dont need to replace the ENTIRE ABS system. http://www.audiworld.com/tech/elec116.shtml

You can have the module rebuilt by Module Master for about 240. You have to pull it out and send it in and takes abot a week to come back. You can still drive the car while it is being fixed.

Anyway to possibly pull a fuse and have it go away until you fix it? Though it would probably have to be an ESP fuse wouldn't it...

Default Try this!

Check the fuses. I blew like 4 fuses on my 02 S4, and I had a solid ebs light, and my brake light was flashing. Check every fuse and see if some are blown... I replaced about 4 fuses and now there are no flashing lights and no thrown codes. BTW I also blew the fuse BEHIND my radio. I had to crowbar it out and wreck it because the radio locks would not open w/ the keys. Oh well, aftermarket custom fabrication touchscreen here I come Pics to come soon!
