Default ABS over-reacting, can this be the problem??

hi there! I have a 01 A4 1.8T quattro, my abs seems to keep activating everytime i stop (low speed), also my tie rods need to be replaced asap (or so says the stealership), is it possible that after replacing and installing the (front) tie rods this ABSA problem will be gone???

nope - your ABS computer might need to be rebuilt, or you have a dirty sensor, or the worst case (what i have) a cracked ABS tone ring.

Unl;ess you have a warranty don't bother taking your car to the dealer ever again. It's not only expensive, but they do make the same amount of mistakes regular shops to.
