I have a 1999 Audi A4 1.8T Quatro. I cannot get the ac to turn off. The off button pushes in yet it doesn't stop the ac. The ac runs and I can move it from auto to the three other settings. But I cannot get it to turn off. I had it on the low setting of 64 when this happened. I was able to press in the auto key and work the temp up one degree at a time with the temp key. Anybody ever had this experience? If so, was it simply a reset type thing with the controls? I need help!!
