Default Adding 2nd Rear Fog

I know some of you don't like the idea of adding a second rear fog to your cars but I am sick of getting calls from tailgating buddies saying one of my taillights are out. I tried to just put a bulb in there but there is a plastic piece over this. Is it as easy as simply cutting that piece out and sticking a bulb in?

Yeah, i think there is an indent or a small hole where the bulb should go.

There is but I was wondering whether there was power going to this outlet or not.

On mine I noticed that the metal prong in that socket is gone. I tested it and there is power to it. The night I bought it my wife followed me and said that I had a light out too.

Yes there is power there. All you have to do is drill out the hole in the back of the housing, put a bulb in the socket, and put it back together, and you're good to go. Did it a month or so ago, and zero problems.

Well yeah, that would do it. But there are times when they're justifiable. I do run my front fogs a lot of the time for the added visibility, but I leave the rear fogs off unless the conditions really warrant using them. And when they are justified, I figured I'd just rather have two instead of getting pulled over again for a supposed blown taillight bulb.

I like how it looks like my brake lights so when douchebag dan is behind me I can slam on the "brakes" to back him off without actually braking.
