I am gettin my car done sat. It is gonna be $150 plus tax and im gettin 20% in the back and
%35 in the front. I live in ohio, laws are %50 front/ any back. I would get darker in the back but 20 is the darkest they had.

I am going 18% all the way around. and either 35 or 50 on the shield. Tinting the shield is illegal, and I dont reccomend it, but I am going to do it anyways.

5% is basically Limo tint. Very hard to see out of. 50% is basically heat rejection. I would say 35 or 25 is legal limit. Cali is the state that is very hard on it.

Make sure you get a good tinter. And make sure they use LLumar or Solar Gard. Solar Gard is supposed to be the "best", but LLumar is very clear. If you get LLumar it seems like you can go a little darker since it is easier to see out of. go to the mentioned suppliers websites and look for the authorized tinters. go and see some samples and check out there work. Look for their lines around the edges of the windows. Make sure there is no dirt under the tint.

Hope this helps.

P.S. Look to pay around 200 or so for a good job. Give or take 50.

they do it both ways... mostly the amount of sun let in through so like 35%, but some say it the other way like 65%tints meaning that much of the sun is blocked.
mine is 30 all around it looks nice. make sure u do the same all around looks way better that way
