Default Advice Needed Please

So I have had my 203 Audi A4 for about 3 weeks now. I live in Huntington Beach, CA and I bought it in Escondido, basically about an hour away if traffic is ok. The thing is, After taking it for a test drive and falling in love and such, I signed the papers and was on my way home. When getting on the freeway and got up to like 80ish. I noticed a weird sound under the i would say steering wheel or RIGHT in the dash area. I would hear it when I switch lanes and go over one of those little markers in the road. I would say it sounds like a little metal something vibrating against another metal little thing. I was told it is probrably something like a connection thats kitting something else. Its so hard to explain unless you are really in the car and listen to it, but anyways, I called Audi today in Escondidoand said that since I heard that noise the day I signed the papers do I have to pay the deductable. They said that as long as I bring it to THEIR service department I wont have to pay it. Now let me ask you this, would it be worth it for me to drive all the way out there which would probrably take a bit in gas anyways. The only other problem so far that I see with the car is that When I was stuck in traffic for a bit that was stop and go, I would hear the brakes sorta squeal. I dont hear this ALOT but EVERY once in a while while stoping. Audi Escondido said that I have a month after I bought the car ot the 1st 1000 miles to get things fixed without the deductable. Would the brakes be included? I am sure that the brakes arent included in regular warranty so im not sure if this is something they will fix since it was wrong with the car when I bought it. Or if im better off just taking it to a place here in Orange County?

Thanks for any of your help. Sorry if this sounds confusing. I just want to know whats the best thing to do here and if the brake problem would be covered.

I would take it back? If you leave early in the morning you should beat the traffice leave at like 400 and the service department opens at 700 i believe? Eat a nice big breakfeast then go in there and tear them a new one saying you want it all fixed! Also check the lemon laws for Cali! Commonwealth is a very good dealer to take you car too, there very nice there! Good LUCK

One of the problems I'm having is that I have about a week left until my month is up and I work monday through friday 8-5. I can have someone bring it down there for me and wait, but although she used to drive a manual, she says how it hurts her hip and crap cuz shes older and i HONESTLY dont trust her to drive my car and NOT mess something up. lol. So i feel sort of stuck

alright....the clicking under the dash/behind the steering wheel could be anything, definately worth taking it in and having it fixed (just for the annoyance factor) if you are not inclinde to do so yourself....the drive down the coast is nice...might as well take PCH to da 5, escondido sux though, but maybe afterwards you could play in old town san diego or sumpin....or go east to da 15, there won't be traffic, but there's no coast and it will be much hotter...

your brakes are probably fine, you will get the occasional sqeal if you get a rock stuck in there or sumpin, they will charge you for any break work they do, it will not be covered by warranty, the brakes are a wear and tear item....

well, good luck w/ your rattle!

Try your best to get it in there because you dont wanna get stuck with a big bill. Just because your a couple weeks late.
