i second that about the Pilots..


Michilin Pilot Sports are factory spec on my 2001 1.8T sport pkge.
and i wouldn't get any other type of tire

 

brrman wow that is the first complaint i've heard about these maybe your friend did get a bad set I don't know I'v eactually had customers come back to me and tell me how much they like them

 

I'm buying new tires tommorow anyone here anything about the Nitto NT NeoGen ZR. They look good to me. the other alternative is Kumho's.

Yeah it may just be my friend is never satisfied with anything. I actually would have had the Fuzions also if they were in stock when I was looking. I have only heard good things too, other than the one remark from that friend of mine.

I've got the same ride except a 2.8....do you know if the Michilen Pilot Sport come standard on mine as well?

I bought mine pre-owned a few months ago with a set of Dunlop Sport 8000. They're strictly a summer tire, and I'm betting they're gonna be pretty worn by October/November, so I should start thinking about a set of tires for the winter. I'm thinking a decent set of all-season tires is probably the best bet (Dunno if I can afford a different set of high-end tires).

Oh, and when I got my car for the dealership (pre-owned) it came with 16's....I guess the previous owner took off the 17's and put on 16's? (it has the sport package). Anyone got a pair of OEM 17's they want to sell cheap?? ;-)
