Another double noob from Rong Beach, alright! Hopefully I'll be able to make it also. We'll see how the wife feels. She'll be flying back on Saturday night from helping out in the Katrina area.

Because if I had gone 20% all around, I would have gotten a ticket and tint removal for the front
don't think the 30% will avoid you from getting a ticket, it's just as risky... [8D]
As long as the cops can see in(also depends on the cop). 30% is light enough to see through the front windows, 20% is asking for it, at least that's what my brother-in-law who is a cop told me

How much did that tint place charge? I may be interested in going with them.

Please do. The more the merrier and new members are always welcome to join the GTG's.
We have a couple S4's, a couple of A3's, and some different model year A4's.
i have a friend with a bone stock B6 A4 i'll try to drag out to this too. despite me roasting him for 3 years, he hasn't done anything to his car so maybe he'll be inspired.

Let him sit in one of the cars that have their ECU flashed and he'll change his tune.
Guaranteed.

Mine was $280 with the visor, I went with the 3M which cost a little higher than other brands

Spectrum Update:

I left messages with Blake, the Director of Operations for the Irvine Company. He has yet to return my call, but I'll keep trying. Even without his blessing, I can get a faux approval for extended time at the parking structure from the security office which should keep them at bay.

My car is back at GReddy again for the day tomorrow. I only wish that it was to get the final exhaust installed. [] Instead, they are still working out the exhaust opening and tips. Hopefully soon they will be done with the production unit and I'll finally get my free exhaust.

Vegas this Friday and Saturday. Anyone around? If not, I'll be seeing you boys on Sunday.

Cheers!

Chef
