Got the new spoiler on.
Fits perfect, looks hot.
Still trying to scramble to get the tint and tires.
I'll post pics in the spoiler thread tomorrow.
Can't wait for Sunday. Everybody I talk to tells me that Ortega is a nightmare....lol.

Driver killed, Ortega Highway closed early Monday
SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO

A vehicle went off the Ortega (74) Highway early Monday, killing the driver and closing the road for about five hours, officials said.

The accident occurred shortly before 2 a.m. about 14 miles east of the San Diego (I-5) Freeway, the California Highway Patrol reported.

The Orange County Sheriff's Department reported that the vehicle burst into flames but did not ignite a brush fire.

Both sides of the highway were closed until about 7 a.m.

The victims' identity was not immediately known. The investigation of the accident is continuing, but officials said the crash appeared to be a suicide.

It's no biggie. I laid it where I wanted it, taped one side down with masking tape over the top, and started applying from the other side.
Once I got about half-way, I had my wife start removing the masking tape as I worked my way towards the other end.

Yes. The wife helped with the install.
When I tell you that I married the right woman - I mean it.

Not hot yet, but slowly working it's way there.
The thing that's holding me up is the coilovers.
I go back and forth on the price, the brand, and the decision itself on a daily basis.

......But I want the wheel-well gap closed. Definitely.

That's a serious downer.
Regardless, if it were a suicide or not, this should remind all of us what kind of trouble we can get in if we don't keep our head screwed on and be safe.
We should have a double-honk rule.

Honk-honk = you're getting a little too loose out there, knock it off.

Sometimes I get a little caught up in the moment when I get behind the wheel of fine German automobiles.
My ego has no problem if someone tells me to reel it back in because I'm being a douchebag. Seriously.

seems like more and more are turning out for the gtg, so far, two are representing SD...... hopefully a third will join....still waiting for reply

WELCOME tsunami racer and Postah....... what Audi do you guys drive? moded?

I am anti- 6 & 8's.
A3 & A4's in their class, A6 & A8 in their class.
"S" and "RS" can go wherever the hell they please....

As for my ride, it's still stock. Nothing exciting to look at.
A flash, an air filter, a CC, a little spoiler, and hopefully some tint.

I don't think I'm going to replace the wheels. For some reason, I kind of dig the one's that came with the car.
I usually go aftermarket or at least dip whatever I have in chrome, but these wheels suit me just fine.
But I definitely need tires. The Goodyear Eagle LS2's are garbage. I had Yoko AVS ES100's on my BMW and they blow the doors off of these Goodyears.
I'm looking at Kumho ECSTA SPT's, Potenza's, or maybe another set of Yoko's.

As far as the pics go. We need a "gather 'round" type of pick.
All of the cars in a circle, facing front, with all of the Audiforum guys in the middle.

Frame that shiznit.

(Don't you love when 30yr old white guys say shiznit?)

I have a 2002 A4 Sedan Dolphin Gray Sport package. Options include Xenon Lights, Heated Seats. Only mod so far is 19" TSW rims that came with the car. Pics:

I'll mostly likely get an APR 91 octane flash and an exhaust kit. Nothing too fancy.......until I start getting bored. I'm waiting for the LA autoshow. There's a company called GMG that attends the show. Last year they gave discounts there for the APR flash and the exhaust kits. $20 auto show = $hundreds off mods.
