Many questions.
1. Do all B6 Audis (specifically 03 and 04) come with 6 disk CD changers?
2. I've noticed that the size of the player seems to be bigger than a double-din, is it?
3. Is the size of the player the same with or without a CD changer?
4. Could somebody post pictures of a A4 stereo with a CD changer and somebody else without one?
5. The slots to remove the system seem to be above the CD slot in the pictures I've seen but I don't know if thats a CD changer or just a player. Could I use the CD changer with an aftermarket system?
6. Is the 6 disk CD changer in dash or in the trunk?

I know I'm asking a lot but I'm looking to but an 04 Audi A4 and need to know as much about the system as possible. I'm looking to but the Sony MEX-BT5000. Any other info would be great.

 

Im pretty sure the 6 disc changer only works with the stock player beacause i have an aftermarket system and mine doesnt work and it wont work without the stock radio thats was told to me by the previous owner of my car because hes the one who installed it. I got a B5 but i think its would apply the same

 

if i remeber correctly, there is a harnes you have to buy, plus have aux controlls on your stereo........ that is for the b5, i am pretty sure the b6 and 7 are the same....... and tyler, you gotta remeber who your previous owner was...... he bought a bov for an audi and neuspeed tunning for it too

In my B6, the changer is in the head unit itself, and if you buy a B6, it'll likely be the same.
