Reminds me of home.... I replace at least 2 or 3 components of my front suspension every year... There are so many holes in the road, there is no way to avoid them. Just glad I haven't gotten my 18's yet.

 

Cannot be with my township it has to be with penndot. Im not going to sue. At that cost i might as well buy a new wheel.

But it was either side swipe the car next to me, curb my wheels on the curb or hit the pothole. You can tell which one i picked.

 

You're in PA? Good luck with PennDot...I had a similar thing happen to me about a year ago, I called them up and they told me they are not liable for that type of thing, I'm not sure why, but I didn't bother with suing them because by the time I paid for a lawyer, I could have bought and new wheel and much more...so to sum it up, it just isn't worth it and PennDot just sucks...

 

That sucks. The roads around here are so bad that I actually purchased wheel insurance when I leased my car. (its like an extra$3/month) I have not had to use it yet, but all of the wheels are insured against any dents, cracks, etc. if my wheel gets Pwned in a crater. A couple of my buddies have spent hundreds on leases due to bent/cracked rims. Well worth it.

ahh man that sucks...it happened to my buddy in his R32 and the town paid for it..it took 4 months for them to pay for it and repair the hole, but it got done. good luck with it.
