I think you are trying to get it all done in too short of time. When i did mine, i spent couple hours on it till i got tired and i quit, but then again i had the luxury of having another car to drive for the week. But point is, if you are more patient you kind of just find a way of avoiding problems. Anddoing that turbo comes with lots of problems lol

Mine won't stop leaking where the flange meets the head surface. I've installed a new flange and a couple of o-rings and lastly gooped it up with some RTV-like high temp sealant. It continues to leak. I'm still experimenting with the last thing I just tried, which so far seems to have made an improvment. What I did was cut a slot in the bolt hole of the front most mounting point of the metal pipe that bolts to the flange. It seemed to me that when I put this bolt in before making the cut it would pull on the plastic flange which would deform it enough to make it leak. Once I cut the slot I was able to push the pipe over a bit, relasing the stress on the flange, but I'm not 100% sure it's cured yet.

My lack of attention to fixing this sooner has caused me another problem. Seems the water leaking from that flange made it's way to my starter motor and forthe last few weeks it's been squealing when I start the car. I've got another starter motor ready to go in but I need to make sure this leak is fixed first.

It never ends.....

IT'S FIXED!!!!

I finally got it fixed today. It took me 4 tries today until it finally quite leaking! I drove a good 10 miles or so and it didn't leak at all. I am so happy now!!! I finally have a running car again! I can't wait to get it chipped now!!! Only 4 more days!
