Had my car vag'd. i forget the code but my airbag light was on and it was something like....drivers side air bag ignitor..something along those lines. happened to anyone eles? where should i start?

You gotta post the exact code, it could be the airbad in the driver's seat, the steering wheel, the a pillar, most likely you have a bad air bag. Un-less its in the steering wheel, the spiral clock spring can also cause an air bag light.

You probably have a bad driver's airbag, there is a test plan in the VAG COM that you can follow to figure out if its the air bag or the spiral clock spring thats causing the fault code.

 

This sucks, airbag's are not cheap at all. will an b5 non sport airbag fit in my non sport steeringwheel?
