I recently replaced my ignition switch. once i got it installed i turned the key to see if it was working properly. The air bag unit was off at this time, so now my airbag light is stuck on, how would i go about getting it off? thanks

 

If you have a vag-com, I recommend you run the test for all fault codes and then clear them. I had a fault code on my Radio controller that was causing the airbag light to come on. Once I cleared the fault in the Radio controller and then cleared the airbag faults, the light stayed off.

 

lol, my air bag light is on also, it goes off after driving for about 5 minutes... its kinda weird, but no biggy

 

I just got my cluster replaced and the air bag light, abs light, brake light, and the check engine lights are all on.[]

 

Well mine all of a sudden has the air bag light coming on, and i dont know what to do?

 

yea i had a problem with my radio code, so the ppl in circut city pulled the radio out for me and i guess you were spossed to take the battery off(my friend told me happend to his jetta too) and they never did so it set my airbag light on, i went to a mechanic got it cleared, it came back in few hours later so i said **** it there are 8 air bags if one dont work another will[sm=devilgrin.gif]
